Lässig, locker und so richtig cool – die Worte beschreiben den Freestyle Skatesport wohl am Besten. Aber was so lässig aussieht, ist keinesfalls so leicht – hinter den Tricks und Moves stecken jahrelange Trainingsstunden. Trotzdem hat man das Gefühl, als wären die Freestyler eine eigene große Familie, die die Wettkämpfe als eine Art Familientreffen nutzen, um sich gegenseitig auszutauschen, anzufeuern und voneinander zu lernen.

Eine einmalige Chance diese Szene hautnah mitzuerleben bietet sich im Herbst 2011. Denn dann ist die Freestyle Szene zu Gast in der arena geisingen, wo die Weltmeisterschaft erstmals in Europa ausgetragen wird. Erlebt die einzigartige Atmosphäre und seid als Zuschauer mit dabei, wenn die Weltspitze des wohl lässigsten Skatesports um den Sieg des Weltmeistertitels kämpft.

Casual, relaxed and super cool – These words probably best describe freestyle skaters. But what looks so simple is not really so easy. Behind the tricks and moves there are years of training behind them. However, within the freestyle community it feels like its very own family where the competitions are a kind of family meeting to see each other, share, learn and cheer each other on.

In autumn 2011 there is the oppurtunity to see the action first hand. For the first time in the history of this sport the Freestyle World Championships will be held in Europe in the arena geisingen.

You can experience the excitement and unique atmosphere yourselves when you come to watch the best freestyle skaters battle it out to win the world title.
